What I Know about the E3 show.
There were many cool games at E3 but I have to say that Metal gear stole the show and I'm not the only one who thinks so. The Bouncer (working title) wasn't available but there were some new videos of it at E3 but none of them really showed how the game play was like, I guess we'll have to wait till Square decides its good enough so that people can play it.I will say this though that if Square is really picky when people want to play thies game then it will live up to the hype.But whether you want to believe the hype or not, I have the full story(and pics in my Archives.

Though it wasn't shown at E3 in playable form, The Bouncer was one of the biggest attractions at the convention center. The game is described as a "Seamless Action Battle" where fighting elements combine with life-like action enabling multiple players and multiple enemies to fight simultaneously. What's more, Squaresoft is promising a deeper realm of interactivity that's never been seen before in a videogame.Background environments such as tables, chairs, and debris will all be fully interactive in the game's action battles that may involve as many as 10 different characters at once. The Bouncer is scheduled to ship in late 2000 in the U.S. for PlayStation 2.

New screens, character info, and all the juicy details about Square's next Final Fantasy.
While it wasn't in playable form at E3,although Final Fantasy IX was at E3, its video was an extremely huge draw at the show as far as PlayStation games are concerned. Final Fantasy IX is set to ship in late 2000.

Vagrant Story is already being touted as one of the best games on the PlayStation and one of the most cinematic gaming experiences ever on any console by numerous members of the online gaming media. Nevertheless, it is generally overshadowed by Square EA's other PlayStation and PlayStation2 games, such as Final Fantasy IX, Chrono Cross, and The Bouncer. Vagrant Story will be fully playable at the show and is set to ship shortly after the show on May 16, 2000 and it will be packaged with a demo disc.

Square EA's Legend of Mana is one of the most aesthetically pleasing games on PlayStation and will likely receive a lot of attention at E3 for both its unique artistic style and strong following that it has built up for being a sequel Secret of Mana on the Super NES. The game is set in a magical, fairy-tale world and it allows the players to assume the role of one of two playable characters. Legend of Mana is currently slated to ship on June 13, 2000.

Originally titled Dew Prism, Threads of Fate is an action/adventure role-playing game that has play mechanics to Square's own Brave Fencer Musashi. It enables players to choose between two characters whose stories will intertwine with each other throughout the game's eight levels. Despite being one of the less known titles in Square EA's vaunted lineup, it's definitely an "A" quality title. This really gives you an insight to the greatness of Square's 2000 lineup for PlayStation. Threads of Fate is currently scheduled to ship on July 18,2000.

As a sequel to the wildly-popular SNES classic, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross is one of the most highly anticipated games on the PlayStation coming this year and was one of the hottest attractions at E3. The title is a true RPG featuring an excellent battle system, great cinematic sequences, and an involving storyline. This has the potential to be one of the best RPGs ever released.At E3 was its first appearance of an English version of the game. Chrono Cross is scheduled to ship in August 2000.

This is the sequel to one of the best-selling role-playing adventure games on PlayStation, Parasite Eve. In Parasite Eve 2, players once again take on the role of Aya Brea, a policewoman from New York, who must take on a new breed of monsters that have appeared in the city. The game's play mechanics are close to Capcom's Resident Evil series and it provides an equal amount of action and excitement as that popular series. Parasite Eve 2 is slated to ship in September 2000.
